At the Cally Festival

News: We are at the Cally Festival again this year on Sunday 8th September – click here for details.

Housmans Bookshop invited Angela Inglis to promote her book ‘King’s Cross: A Sense of Place’ at the Cally Festival on September 16th 2012. She invited Norma Steel and Randal Keynes (two of the contributors) to join her, and also Nigel Buckner, the graphic designer.

Housmans were hoping they would have a stand from which the speakers could be clearly seen. In the event it was on the pavement and hidden among many other stalls. However, it was a colourful event and a number of people stood listening to Norma, Randal and Nigel. It was a pity not to reach a wider audience, but the people who did listen were really appreciative.

Angela is grateful to Housmans for initiating this event.
